Florence Snyder

Florence A. Snyder, 94, formerly of Perkiomenville, died Sunday, October 07, 2007 at her daughter’s home in Telford. She was the wife of the late Frank G. Snyder. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mae (Canon) Buchman. She was a nurses Aide at the former Pennhurst School And Hospital in Spring City. She was of the Lutheran faith. Florence is survived by a son Charles of Hereford, PA; daughters, Florence Shafer of Orlando, FL, Margaret Alderfer of Telford, PA, Virginia Overholtzer of Lansdale, PA, Dorothy Eisenhart of Barto, PA, Helen Snyder Dine of Muskegon, MI, Linda Johnson of Shoemakersville, PA; 32 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons Herbert, Joseph, and Frank; her daughters, Ethel Snyder, Barbara Underkoffler, and Catherine Walsh, and a grandson John Alderfer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Interment will follow the service at Perkiomenville Mennonite Church Cemetery in Perkiomenville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Grandview Hospice.
