Florence Smith Hunsberger

Florence S. Hunsberger, 86, of Green Lane, passed away September 30, 2013. She was the widow of Jerry W. Hunsberger. Born in Souderton, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Carrie (Smith) Roeder. Flossie worked as the secretary for C.W. Hunsberger Auto in Green Lane for 15 years. Following that, she was a secretary for the former Baum Meat Packing Co. for 10 years. She ended her career in 1988 as a mill packer at the former Green Lane Hosiery Mill. Flossie was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran church, Pennsburg. She was also a member of the Perkiomen Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a former member of the Unami Court of the Order of the Amaranth.

Surviving: Sons: Dennis, of Telford; Neal, and his wife, Carol, of Perkiomenville; and Jerry, of Stroudsburg; grandchildren: Michael, Joanne, Karen, and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Sarah, Erica, Zachary, Brianna, and Leah; and a sister, Ruth Seasholtz, of Kulpsville.

Services: will be at 11AM on Thursday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, with an Eastern Star service at 7:45 PM; and from 10-11 AM on Thursday. Interment will be at Friedens Union Cemetery, Sumneytown.
