Florence Fesmire

Florence S. Fesmire, 87, of Rockhill Mennonite Community, and formerly of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2014. She was the wife of the late Ralph R. Fesmire. Born in Jeffersonville, she was a daughter of the late Gurness and Flossie (Rambo) Shellenberger. She was a graduate of Norristown High and later in life worked for many years at Kohl’s Department Store as a Sales Clerk. She was a long time member of Lansdale Presbyterian Church, where she served as church organist for many years. Surviving are her son, R. Richard Fesmire and his wife Dolores of Coopersburg, and her daughter, Vickie Long of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Bradley Fesmire (wife Anna), of W. Kingston, RI, Devon Hallowell (Husband Matt), of Coopersburg, Stephanie Long, of Pennsburg, Tyler Long, of Philadelphia; and great grandchildren: Gabriel and Naomi Hallowell. She was predeceased by siblings: Margaret Kratz, Jessie McClure, Dorothy Andren, Roberta Marx, Edwin and Donald Shellenberger, and Emily Henning. Services: 11 am, Friday, Rockhill Mennonite Community Chapel, 3250 State Rd, Sellersville, PA where all are invited to gather from 10 am.
