Ferry Lees

Ferry “Jean” Lees, 83, of East Greenville, passed away March 22, 2015. She was the widow of Robert “Rebel” Elwood Lees Sr. Born in Prudge Creek, Adger, AL, she was a daughter of the late Greely and Martha Ethel (McCraw) Gilbert. Jean was employed at the former Plummer Optics, Pennsburg before retiring in 1993. Prior to that, she was a machine operator at Emico in Perkasie. Surviving are children: Linda Mamatuck, of Bechtelsville; Robert Elwood Lees Jr. of Altoona; William Lees, of East Greenville; Sandra, wife of Philip Greger, of Alburtis; and Nancy Henry, of Allentown; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Diane and siblings: Lloyd, Leamon, Melvin, Roy, Gladys, Itra, Caroline, & Eloyce. A Memorial Service will be at 10 AM on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Interment will be held at 12:30 PM in Friendship Methodist Cemetery, Elmer NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedarbrook Nursing Home, 350 S. Cedarbrook Rd., Allentown, PA 18104.
