Eugene Frank Stanley

Eugene “Gene” Stanley Jr., 64, of Red Hill passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 11th, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Maryan (Diehl) Stanley. Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Eugene and Elaine (Garlick) Stanley. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for several local companies, including John R. Young and C.R. Dampman. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Red Hill and the Alburtis Rod & Gun Club; and a life member of the Sassamansville Fire Company. With his love of collecting, Gene was the former owner and operator of “The Collectors Post” located in East Greenville for many years. He was an avid coin and card collector. He also enjoyed going to the beach in Wildwood and spending time at the cabin in the mountains. Throughout his life, he enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, hunting, shooting, and tinkering. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Jeremy J., husband of Stacy Stanley of Perkiomenville; Ginger L., wife of Stephen M. Volz of Pennsburg; and Rebecca A., wife of William Neiman of Pottstown; his step children: Lee M. Kershner and his wife Dana of Quakertown; and Luke M. Kershner of Boyertown; his grandchildren: Nicole E. and Shawn A. Volz, and Dominic, Kira, Madelyn and Colton Kershner; his sisters: Pamela, wife of Michael Mogen of Coeur d'Alane, ID and Cynthia, wife of James Kneeream of Killeen, TX; his brothers: Lynn Stanley of Macungie; Todd Stanley of Pennsburg; and Scott Stanley of Pottstown; and his beloved cat “Harley” and his grand-doggy “The Mighty Thor”. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and many cousins, nieces & Nephews. A Celebration of Gene’s Life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 19 at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
