Esther Walter

Esther Walter, 84, of N. Gravel Pike, Schwenksville, died May 20, 2011 at the Pennsburg Manor. She was the widow of Calvin F. Walter, who died in December of 1985. Born in Schwenksville, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mae (Perch) Ziegler. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Red Hill. She was also a member of the auxiliaries of the Sassamansville and Green Lane Fire Companies. Surviving: is a son David Walter, and his wife, Sherry, of Salford; a daughter, Andrea Gerhart, of Bechtelsville; a brother, Gary Ziegler, and his wife, Judith, of Green Lane; sisters: Florence, wife of Milton Shuman, of Coopersburg; and Carol, wife of Louis Heintz, of Spring Mount; 4 grandchildren: Sonya, Dana, David Jr., and Gregory; and 5 great-grandchildren.
