Esther Vanaman, 94, of Collegeville, died July 26, 2011. She was the widow of Howard Vanaman, and her first husband, William Smith. Born in West Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Smyton) Buler. Esther was a keypunch operator for many years. She was a volunteer at Suburban General Hospital. She enjoyed a good laugh and a glass of Merlot. Surviving: Daughters: Bonnie, wife of Charles Leister, of Pennsburg; and Margaret Smith, of Collegeville; 2 grandsons: William & Jon Leister; and 4 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Daniel, Matthew, and Tia; and a brother-in-law, Dwight Cannon, of Telford. She was pre-deceased by sisters: Ethel Cannon and Margaret Williamson. Services will be at 1:30 PM on Friday at the Mausoleum Chapel of Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick. A viewing will be from 12:30-1:30 PM at the chapel. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.
