Ernest Prinz

June 21, 1922 — October 19, 2011

Ernest C. H. Prinz, 89, of Marlborough Township, died October 19, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. (Meier) Prinz. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Ernest and Louisa (Scheerbaum) Prinz. He served his country honorably during WWII in the Army Air Corps. After serving his country, he was a tool sharpener for the former Porter Instruments, Souderton. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sumneytown, a past Master of Perkiomen Lodge #595 F&AM and was a 32 degree mason in the Valley of Allentown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and summer vacations with his family. Surviving with his wife is his son, Ernest R. Prinz of Marlborough Township, his grandchildren: Robert D. Prinz, Jr., Ernest J. Prinz, Richard E. Prinz and Susan E. Bradley, great-grandchildren: Nicole Prinz, Brianna Yerger, Ernest Prinz, Emmaline Prinz and Wyatt Bradley. He was predeceased by a son Robert D. Prinz. A celebration of his life which began with a Masonic Service was held on Tuesday, November at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 163 Main St, Pennsburg.
