Emma F. Brown, 94, of Red Hill died on February 18, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth C. “Brownie” Brown. Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Emma (Fisher) Poweleit. She served our country honorably during WWII in the Army Air Corps. After that she worked as a packer for Pillsbury and Rayflex.
Emma is survived by her daughters: Patricia, wife of James Bauman of Barto; Linda Brown of Pennsburg and Barbara, wife of Chuck Telotte of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Jessi, wife of Don O’Donald, and James and his wife Rachel Bauman; great grandchildren: Morgan, Miranda, Paige and Hanna; a sister: Adele “Babs”, wife of Rev. Tom Maher of Honor, MI. She is predeceased by a brother Robert Poweleit.
Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1244 St. Paul’s Church Rd, Pennsburg, PA, where all are invited to a viewing beginning at 10 AM. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
