Emily K. Hoff (Beard)

Emily K. Hoff, 84, of Frederick Living and formerly of Pennsburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry L. Hoff. The couple celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Vincent L. and Kathryn S. (Schanley) Beard. Emily was a faithful member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ, serving on many committees and sang in the church choir. Emily taught aerobic classes at the UP Senior Center, delivered Meal on Wheels, sang in the UP Choral Arts Society, was captain of Winsch’s Walkers Relay for Life team and a lifetime member of The Dutch Country Playhouse where she performed in a number of musicals.

Surviving are her three children: Peter and his wife Victoria, James and his wife Lisa, and Lori Hawkins and her husband John; grandchildren: Jeanine Bonner (Richard), Dayna Kramer (Kevin), Andrew Hawkins, Thomas Hawkins (Devon); and her great grandchildren: Oliver, Emmitt, Prudence, Kora, Kolton, Kaci, Theta, and Jack; and her sister: Sharon Burns (Robert).

A service will be held on May 7, 2025, at 11:00 am at Pennburg UCC, 755 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Friends may visit from 10:30 am until the time of service. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Larry L. Hoff. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
