Emily Carter

Emily C. Carter, 75, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Herbert Carter Jr. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ella (Ulma) Collinge. She worked for the Salvation Army in Norristown and Pottstown for over 20 years before retiring in 2003. Surviving with her husband are, her children: Jane, wife of George Ehnot, of Green Lane, Herbert III, and his wife Diane of Macungie, Catherine Derkosh, of Atlanta, GA, Samuel of Green Lane, Edward and his wife Tracey, of Landis Store, and Caroline Carter of Green Lane; three grandchildren: Jason, Kallie, and Abigail Carter; and a sister, Elizabeth Clark of Malvern. Services will be held privately.
