Elsie Aaron

Elsie M. Gabriel Aaron, 94, of Hellertown, died June 12, 2008. She was the widow of Frank Gabriel and Marvin Aaron. Born in Salisbury Township, she was a daughter of the late Gabriel and Erminea (Billio) Pietrobon. She was a graduate of Allentown High School and the former Bethlehem Business School. Elsie worked in the office of the former Union Garage, Bethlehem. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hellertown, where she belonged to the Women’s Guild. She also belonged to the New Beginnings Senior Citizen’s Group in Hellertown and the Women’s Fellowship of the Mountainview Moravian Church. Elsie is survived by son, Neil Gabriel and his wife Kathleen of Mullica Hill, NJ; daughter Nancy Gabriel Montgomery and her husband James of Hershey, PA; step-son, Clyde Aaron and his wife Dawn of New Bern, NC; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a sister Esther Karban of Allentown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Att, Peter, Alfred, Gabriel, and Vincent. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions may be made in Elsie’s memory to St. Theresa Catholic Church, Mountainview Moravian Church, or the Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke’s.
