Elmer Brinkman

Elmer J. Brinkman, 91, of Quakertown, passed away on April 18, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Kooker) Brinkman. Born in Spinnerstown, he was a son of the late Henry and Eva (Huber) Brinkman. He was employed for 32 years at W.R. Grace, Quakertown. Earlier in life, he worked on the family farm. Elmer was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Spinnerstown, where he was a former secretary of the Sunday School. Surviving with his wife, is a daughter, Cathy, wife of Russell Heller, of Quakertown; grandsons: Derek; and Todd, and his wife, Elizabeth; and great-grandchildren: Morgan, Joshua, and Alyssa. Services will be at 11 AM at the church, 1565 Sleepy Hollow Road, Spinnerstown, PA 18968. A Viewing will be from 9:30-11 AM Saturday at church. Contributions may be made in his memory to the church.
