Ellis Lauman

Ellis R. Lauman Sr., 82, of Lenhartsville, passed away May 8, 2017. Born in West Point, PA, he was a son of the late John and Estelle (Heffentrager) Lauman. Ellis was a mechanic and welder and worked at various places in both Pennsylvania and Florida throughout his career. In his spare time, he was a tinker and enjoyed fixing all sorts of things. He loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed being with his family and his beloved pets, Jippy and K.K. Surviving are children: Ellis Lauman Jr., and his wife, Gisele, of Willow Grove; Tony Lauman, and his companion, Kathy Shear, of Telford; Rosemary Lauman, of Quakertown; and Larry Lauman, and his wife, Lori, of Springfield, SC; grandchildren: Joseph, Jennifer, Ritchie, and Tiffany Lauman; Susan Rice; David and Devon Klotz; and Daniel Wertz; and great-grandchildren: Shawn, Emily, Mackenzie, Aisley, Toby, and Isabella; and siblings: John Lauman, of Hatfield; Robert Lauman, of Iowa; Estelle Harper, of Quakertown; Virginia Castle, of Virginia; and Ann Coleman, of Harleysville. He was pre-deceased by brothers: George, Elmer, and Charlie Lauman, and sister: Mary Jane Gustdavison. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg has been entrusted with his care.
