Elizabeth Mikanowicz

Elizabeth Elizabeth Mikanowicz, 88, of Pennsburg, passed away August 13, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was beloved wife of Stanley A. Mikanowicz, and in June they celebrated their 69 years of marriage. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA she was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Latzo) Stavinski. She was an active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, a former member of Polka Ter Pals of Pottstown. She was an excellent wife, mother and homemaker. Survivors: Along with her husband are her sons: Stanley Jr. and his wife Kathy of Lakeland, FL, Ronald J. and his wife Rebecca A. Mikanowicz of Pennsburg and Dennis M. of Birdsboro; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a sister: Anna Stavinski. Elizabeth was preceded in death by a grandson. Services: Mass will be Thursday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at 11AM. Friends may gather from 9:30 to 11AM.
