Eleanor June Renninger, 76, of Emmaus, passed away on July 3, 2009. She was the wife of Gene Renninger. Previously, they resided in Old Zionsville and Palm. She was the daughter of the late Harlan and Elizabeth (Hilbert) Fenstermaker. Eleanor worked at the former Fenstermaker’s Market in downtown Emmaus for 27 years. She is pre-deceased by her brothers Donald, Dudley, Floyd, and Carl. Eleanor enjoyed visiting area flea markets, walking around multiple Wal-Marts in a single day, and going out to breakfast. Her family was constantly amazed at her ability to organize even the smallest of spaces into tidy control. She loved finding small standing shelves or cabinets that fit perfectly into whatever space needed them, and she believed all spaces needed one. Surviving with her husband, are daughters: Teresa, wife of Randy Vallier, of Westfield; Marlene Renninger, of Old Zionsville; Kathleen Weinman, of Hellertown; and Eileen Singley, of Kutztown; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Paula, Josef, Matthew, Deniele, Jennifer, Lauren, and Shea; and great-grandchildren: Damion, Jasmine, Cerina, Dennis, Morgan, Desiree, Luke, and Jane.
