Elaine Zemeckis

Elaine M. Zemeckis, 68, of Emmaus, PA, and formerly of Garfield and Edison, NJ, passed away on September 30, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Leonard Zemeckis. They celebrated 43 years of marriage in February 2019. Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor Rusnak. Elaine was a graduate of Felician College, where she received a B.A. in Education in 1973. For over 40 years, she was a math teacher, first in the Charles H. Brewer School and then in the Carl H. Kumpf Middle School, both in Clark, NJ, before retiring in 2013. Surviving with her husband are her son Dr. Douglas Zemeckis of Toms River, NJ, her daughter Cynthia, wife of Dr. Steven Falowski of Coopersburg, PA, her two beloved grandchildren: Caroline and Xavier Falowski; and her brother Robert Rusnak of Lehighton, PA. All are invited to gather from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055. A Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 1 PM. Following the service, she will be interred in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to be made to a memorial scholarship that has been established by making checks out to "Elaine Zemeckis Memorial Scholarship" and mailed to: Edward Grande, Superintendent of Schools, Arthur L.
