Elaine S. Mccarthy

Elaine S. McCarthy, 94, of Coopersburg, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. McCarthy Jr. who passed away in 2012. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Edna (Wunderlich) Sneed. She attended the University of Mississippi and worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

Survivors: A son, William J. III, of Hellertown; a daughter, Pamela M. Gallagher, of Orefield, PA; six grandchildren, James, Andrew, Justin, and Brendan, Meredith, and Christine; and five great grandchildren: Liam, Eile, Lucia, Alex, and Anna. She was predeceased by siblings, Shirley and Eloise.

Services: Thursday, 9:30 am, Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown. All are invited to a viewing on from 8:30-9:30 am at the funeral home. She will be interred with her husband in Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery.
