Elaine Love

Elaine R. Love, 87, of Linden Avenue, Hellertown, died April 28, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the widow of Frank R. Love, who died in 2000. They were married 60 years. Born in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Bowerbank) Apisell. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, and the Saucon Valley Community Center, both of Hellertown. Her family was the most important in her life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is a son, Frank Love, Jr. and his wife, Lucy, of Hellertown; Daughters: Elaine Love, of Hellertown; and Mary, wife of Glenn Spengler, of Moore Township; a sister, Dorothy Baer, of New City, NY; 6 grandchildren: Bob Mateff, Cathy Mantoni, Frank R. Love III, Danielle Parsons, Mark Spengler, and Jamie Molina; and 7 great-grandchildren: Anastacia, Jake, and Sara Mantoni; Robert & Kevin Mateff; Michael Love, and Savannah Spengler. She was pre-deceased by a son, James, in 1967. Services will be at 8:30 AM on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by Mass at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church at 9 AM. A viewing will be from 7-8:30 PM on Friday and from 8-8:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Hellertown.
