Elaine F Love (Love)

Elaine F. Love, 79, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born

in the Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elaine (Apisell) Love.

As a child, Elaine and her family moved to Hellertown, where she graduated from St. Francis Academy and

later DeSales University. She worked at H&R Block as a tax preparer for over 40 years, retiring in 2020. Elaine was a dedicated mother and grandmother who volunteered her time at the Hellertown Public Library, loved to

travel the world and swim at the Dimmick Park Pool.

Surviving are her children: Cathy, Bob Mateff, and his partner, Alicia

Karner; grandchildren: Ana, Jake, Robert, Sara, and Kevin; and siblings: Frank Love, and his wife, Lucy, and

Mary Spengler. She was predeceased by her son in law: Bobby Mantoni; and her brother: James Love.

Services will be held privately. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Hellertown Area Library, 409
