Eileen Hess

Eileen M. Hess, 61, of Bethlehem passed away on May 14, 2010. She was the wife of Norm Hess of Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Davis) Stratton. She was a 1966 graduate of Hellertown Lower Saucon High. Eileen was retired from St. Lukes Hospital where she was a night shift telephone operator. Prior to that she worked 23 years for APT Telecommunications Answering Service, Freemansburg. She lovingly crocheted Afghans for family and friends. She also cross stitched baby blankets which she gave away. Survivors: She will be greatly missed by daughters, Holly O’Donnell and her beloved Michael Gangaware, and Robyn wife of Tony Facchiano; a sister Evelyn Serfass of Bath; her beloved grandchildren, Stephen and Colleen Poineau, Brittany Facchiano, and Chloe O’Donnell. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Jr., and Donald Sr. who both passed away in 2008. Services: 1 P.M., Thursday, May 20, Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown.
