Edythe M. Gorman, 93 years young, Author of “My Life as an Army Wife” has been received in Heaven this 21st day in May, 2023. Born in Newark, NJ, to (the late) Thomas M. Price and Elizabeth (Ball) Price, Edy grew up in Milburn, NJ with (late) sisters, Marie (Price) Monahan, and Felice (Price) Tighe.

Edythe is a graduate of Milburn High School. She married (the late) Lt. Col. William J. Gorman on January 23, 1954. Edythe was a resident of Hellertown for 31 years, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafting, traveling the world, and being involved in the local Hellertown Woman’s Club, the Happy Bookies Eating Cookies Book Club, and St. Theresa’s Ladies Guild. Edythe was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus and a former Eucharistic Minister.

Edythe is survived by her children: Debra Brown, William J. Gorman Jr., Linda Bettler, and Patrick Gorman. The Most loving Gram to 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Granddaughters.
