Edwin Paul Wirth

Edwin P. Wirth, born November 9, 1937, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 1, 2026. He was 88 years old.

Edwin was given loving care by his daughter, Susan while living at Michael S. Fountaine's home in Coopersburg, PA. Michael and Susan cared for him for five months prior to being transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospice Unit in Allentown.

Edwin is survived by 6 children: Cindy M. Delp of Tamaqua, Edwin P. Wirth Jr. of Hellertown, Susan F. Wirth of Coopersburg, Diane M. Noack of Palm, Lisa A. Wirth of Allentown, John D. Wirth II of Center Valley; 11 grandchildren: Greg, Tiffanie, Lindsie, Destany, Tamara, Tommy, Imogen-Susan, Larisa, Anna, Nathanael, and Amanda; and 9 great grandchildren: Xavier, Lilian, Kaylyn, Calvin, Alivia, Christopher, Cayden, Carter, and Timothy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden St, Bethlehem, PA 18017

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2700 Jacksonville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017 or donations may be sent to The Ronald McDonald House Charities/ Ronald McDonald Camp, 3925 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
