Edward N. Wisser, 82, of Shuhler Road, Palm, died January 6, 2009 at Pennsburg Manor. He was the husband of Edna (Hallman) Wisser. Born in Salisbury Twp., he was a son of the late Alfred and Margaret (Bechtel) Wisser. He was a self employed dairy farmer for many years. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg, where he was an usher. He was an avid gardener, and loved to square dance. He belonged to the Melody Lakes Square Dance Club. Surviving with his wife, are daughters, Barbara, wife of Michael Miller, of Palm; and Bernice, wife of John Schmehl, of Hamburg; 2 Brothers: George, and his wife, Marie, of Trumbauersville; and Thomas, and his wife Shirley, of New Tripoli; 2Sisters: Sister M. Nanette, M.S.C., of Reading; and Beaty, wife of Stanley Mesaros, of Whitehall; and 4 grandchildren: Karen and William Miller; and Teresa and Joseph Giangiacomo. He was pre-deceased by a son, Richard, in 1960; and a brother, Paul. Services: A Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg. A Viewing will be on Friday from 9-10 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.
