Edward Neitz

Edward J. Neitz, 85, of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Bethlehem, died Friday, April 26, 2013 in the Bay Pines VA Hospital, Florida. Born August 16, 1927 in the Lehigh Valley, he was the son of the late George and Doris Neitz. He was the loving husband of the late Rose Marie Neitz. Edward worked for Buckey Pipeline Co, and completed a long career in Applied Research at Air Products and Chemicals, Trexlertown PA until his retirement. He was a graduate of William Allen High School and served honorably in the US Navy from 1945-1947 during World War II, stationed in Yokosuka, Japan and San Francisco, CA. Survivors: Edward will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Edward and his wife Joanne of Bethlehem; Mark and his wife Michelle of Largo, FL; his daughters: Dianne Fogel of Allentown, Barbara Kramer and her husband Robert of Kenneth City, FL; Marie Neitz of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters: Janice Kreider of Lititz, PA; Doris Moser of Easton PA; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Letchak of Florida. Services will be at 1pm, Friday May 24, 2013 at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1418 Main St., Hellertown. Friends may call from 12:30-1pm. Interment to follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
