Edward John Leitgeb

Edward J. Leitgeb, 84, of Boyertown, passed away October 29, 2019. He was the husband of the late Jeannette (Strohl) Leitgeb. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edward and Ruth (Snyder) Leitgeb. Edward began his career as a machine operator at the former Phoenix Clothing in Allentown. He then was a construction laborer for the Limerick Generating Station, Limerick. He finished his career as a bartender at both the Pikesville Gun Club and the Mansion House, Boyertown. He was a member of the Gablesville AA and Senior Life of Exeter.

Surviving are children: Scott Leitgeb, and his wife Lisa, of Vera Beach, FL; Jan Gaumer, of Arizona; and Kelly, wife of Richard Schwenk, of Boyertown; siblings: Robert, Thomas, Billy and Richard; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren. He was pre- deceased by siblings: James, Ruth, and Joan; and a granddaughter, Stephanie.
