It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Hurlbrink, 53, of Pennsburg. Edward passed away on September 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne Hurlbrink, and two amazing sons Aiden Hurlbrink (21), and Dustin Hurlbrink (19); his mother, Marcie Mancuso; his Brothers, Thomas Hurlbrink, Andrew Hurlbrink and his wife Andrea, his Sister Susan Coffey, and her husband, Jim, and 12 nieces and nephews, who he loved deeply. Ed was predeceased by his father, Donald Hurlbrink and his step father, Gene Mancuso.
Ed was born in Abington and lived in the Bucks County area for most of his life before settling in Pennsburg PA with his family. He attended CB West High school, where he played Football on an undefeated championship team. He later graduated from Wilkes University with a BS in Business Administration. Upon graduating from Wilkes University, Ed became a loan officer/account manager for Chase Manhattan Bank in Newtown, PA. After a four-year career with Chase, he moved into a career in Sales in the Telecom/Data Network Industry. Ed spent the next 27 years of his professional career working for both National and International IT Companies specializing in business development, channel management, and relationship based selling. During his 27 year professional career, Ed developed many life-long friendships with many colleagues which he truly treasured. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and Philadelphia sports fan, and he was well known for his humor and larger than life personality, with a heart as big as his smile. Ed was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. We rest knowing Ed is in the arms of the Lord, as we remember all of the countless memories we have shared. We will miss Ed all of the days of our lives.
All are invited to a viewing from 9 – 11 AM with a Celebration of his Life at 11 AM, on Tuesday, September 26, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073. He will be laid to rest privately.
