Edward Carl Hawkrider

Edward “The Hawk” Hawkrider, 88, of Pennsburg passed away on Saturday, September 10th, 2022. He was the husband of the late Joan (Christman) Hawkrider. He was born and raised in Pennsburg and was a graduate of Pennsburg High School. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. For many years, he owned and operated a commercial cleaning service in the area.

He is survived by his son, Lance Hawkrider, with whom he resided; his granddaughters: Raquel and Farrah Hawkrider; and his stepchildren: Ricky Matta, and his wife, Annie, of Miami, Fl; and Mary, wife of Dennis Newett, of Flagstaff, AZ.
