Edward Dougherty

Edward D. Dougherty, 75, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the Late James P. and Martha M. (Hagan) Dougherty. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from Corestates Bank in Philadelphia after 35 years. Edward is survived by his siblings: William J. Dougherty, and his wife Mary, of Feasterville, and Helen D., wife of Len McGrath of Bechtelsville, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: James, Charles, Joseph, Virginia and Anne. A funeral mass will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018, 10:30am, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally PA 19503, all are welcome to visit at 9:30am. He will be interred at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Chestnut Knoll Boyertown, 120 W. 5th St, Boyertown, PA 19512 or Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Dr, Ste C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
