Edgardo C. Custodio M.D.

Edgardo C. Custodio MD, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 30, 2021. Born in the Philippines, he was the son of the late Delfin and Modesta (Caparaz) Custodio. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ligaya A. Custodio. A 1957 graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, he immigrated to the United States in 1968. He worked at Muhlenberg Hospital and Palmerton Hospital before retiring in 2002. He will be remembered for his love of gardening, game shows, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, corny jokes, and especially his love for his family. Surviving with his wife Ligaya, are his daughters: Maribel A. Custodio, Melissa A. Custodio and Jennifer C. Pintor, wife of Don; Grandchildren: Madeleine, Tyler and Liana; Siblings: Isauro Custodio, Nilda Bueno, Rubi Alejos, Myrna Custodio, Carlo Custodio and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings: Herminio Custodio, Delfin Custodio and Leticia Alano. Services will be held privately.
