Drew W. Landis, 69, of Easton, MD died November 27, 2009 in Maryland. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Ferne (Pennypacker) Fite, of Pennsburg, and the late William S. Landis. He was a 1957 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and received a BA in Business Administration from Penn State University. He was a vice president of Human Resources for Binney & Smith, Easton for over 30 years before retiring. Upon Drew's retirement, he moved to the Easton/St. Michaels area and became involved in the following: operation of the St. Michaels harbor shuttle; as a member and past president of the St. Michaels Business Association; and as one of the founding members of the St. Michaels Food and Wine Festival. He loved the Eastern Shore and the opportunities the area afforded for sailing, hunting and fishing. Survivors: Mother; Wife, Celena Landis, of Ocean View, NJ; and a step-brother, William Landis, of Bethlehem. He was pre-deceased by his father, and his uncle, A.H. “Bud” Pennypacker. Memorial Services will be at 1PM on Thursday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematoy, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Friends may call on Thursday from 12-1 PM.
