Dorothy Rose Primich McSpadden, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Michael L. McSpadden, whom she married this past November, and the late Daniel J. Primich. Born in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Sobo) Getzow.
Dorothy was raised in New Jersey and worked for many years as a customer service representative for Continental/United Airlines at Newark Liberty International Airport. She also was a customer service representative for the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Princeton, NJ. before retiring. Dorothy enjoyed watching British comedy shows, going for walks (including completing several Susan G. Koman walks), traveling the country with Michael, and being with her beloved cat, Winnie. She was proud of her Jewish heritage.
Surviving with her husband and beloved cat, Winnie, are step-children: Lindsey, wife of Steve Rainier, of Jackson, WY; Daniel Primich & his wife, Kate Kool, of Jackson, WY; Michael A. McSpadden, and his wife, Theresa, of Ambler; and Megan McSpadden, of Quakertown; 9 step-grandchildren: Wesley, Zac, Mo, Marley, Sarah, Noah, Rebekah, Luke & Rachel.; and siblings: John Getzow, of San Francisco, CA and Geraldine Getzow, of Quakertown.
A Celebration of her Life will be at 3 PM on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street Pennsburg. Friends may visit from 2-3 PM.
