Dorothy L. Moser, 75, of Barto, passed away March 12, 2018. She was the widow of Harold L. Moser Jr. Born in Sassamansville, she was a daughter of the late William & Kathryn (Houston) Matz. Dorothy was a dairy farmer and homemaker on the family farm. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Niantic. Surviving are children: Gregory H. Moser, of Barto; and Cindy, wife of James Morgandale, of Hellertown; siblings: Richard Matz, Kathryn Thiel, and Agnes, wife of James Parker, all of Sassamansville; and Nancy, wife of Alan Pederson, of Ithaca, NY; and grandchildren: Justin & Connor Morgandale. She was pre-deceased by a granddaughter, Kira Morgandale, and brothers: William, Charles, James, & Jack Matz. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, PA 19504. Friends may call from 10-11 AM Thursday at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Falk Funeral Home, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the church.
