Dorothy Mohr

Dorothy A. Mohr, 92, of Pennsburg, died May 22, 2011 in her home. She was the widow of Kenneth E. Mohr Sr. who died in 1971, and her first husband, John Dulin, who died in 2002. Born in Red Hill, she was a daughter of the late Nathan G. and Katie (Renninger) Schwenk. She worked on the family farm, as a sewing machine operator for several factories in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, and as a clerk both with her husband John and Sam Morgan, Auctioneers. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Red Hill where she was an active volunteer and member of the "Lunch Bunch". She was also a volunteer at the Upper Perkiomen Valley Thrift Shop. Survivors: Daughters, Judy Cressman of Red Hill, and Joann Folk of Lansdale; sons, Donald and Larry, both of Pennsburg; a special niece, B. Fern Roth, and other nieces and nephews; grandchildren: Mildred Kaufman, Amy Henderson, D.J. Dulin, Kimberly Cressman, Karin Leighow, Tracey Rodenbach, Heather Stump, and Caroline Boulin; and great-grandchildren: Taylor, Gabrielle, Samuel, Eliana, Cody, Emily, and Ephraim. She was pre-deceased by a son David; and her siblings, Fred, Augustus, William, Alverda, Louisa, Kathryn, Sevilla, Mabel, Lillie, and a brother who died at birth. Services: Interment will be held privately in the church cemetery. Contributions: St. Paul's Lutheran Church Building Improvement Fund, P.O. Box 47, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
