Dorothy Clewell

Dorothy (Hausman) Clewell, 97, of Allentown, died March 14, 2009 at her home in Luther Crest. She was the wife of Mark E. Clewell, who died last Friday. They were married 68 years. She was a daughter of the late William A. and Mary (Repass) Hausman. She was a lifetime resident of Allentown. She was a graduate of Cedar Crest College, class of 1933, where she served as alumnae secretary of her class for many years. She was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Allentown. She enjoyed birding and traveling with her husband in their RV. She was a resident of Luther Crest for the past 20 years, where she was on the marketing committee and volunteered in residential activities. Survivors: Daughter, Elizabeth C., wife of Ronald H. Epp, of Merrimack, NH, a niece, a nephew, and five grand-nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, April 4 at 3 pm at LutherCrest, 600 Hausman Road, Allentown.
