Doris McCollough, 74, of Nazareth, and formerly of Hellertown, died August 19, 2011. She was the wife of the late James McCollough who died in 2010. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Marie (Strzelecki) Hacker. She was a crossing guard in Hellertown for many years. Early in life she was a key punch operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus (Polish) Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: daughters, Debra wife of Terry Heft of Hellertown, and Kathryn wife of David Allan of Allentown; 3 grandchildren, Heather and Amanda Heft, and David McCollough Allan; and a brother Richard Hacker. She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Elovski. Services: Tuesday, 11 a.m., Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown. Call at the funeral home on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 – 11 a.m. Contributions: In lieu of flowers to the American Heart Assoc., OR Northampton County Blind Assoc.
