Donna Taylor

Donna M. (Niebel) Taylor, age 62, of DuBois, PA on December 19, 2012. She was a graduate of Braddock Hospital School of Nursing, and began her career at the North Hills Passavant Hospital (now a part of UPMC). She served in various nursing capacities, including Home Health Nurse and Patient Advocate. She retired in 2001, serving as a Patient Advocate for LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA. Donna was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her caring and compassionate interactions with her patients, friends, and beloved family. She is survived by her husband, George Taylor; her mother, Dorothy (Schafer) Sheller, of Pittsburgh; children: Kristen, wife of Jeffrey Funk, of East Greenville, PA; and Jonathan Taylor, and his wife, Laurie, of Quakertown, PA; grandchildren: Rachel Taylor; and Madison, Colin, & Sarah Funk; and sisters: Antoinette, wife of Steven Houston, of DuBois; and Patricia, wife of George Schaffner, of Pittsburgh. A Funeral Mass will be on held on December 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Juan Diego Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church, 201 Ninth St, Sharpsburg, PA 15215. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hahne Regional Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801-1440.
