Donald Miller

Donald F. Miller, 78, died July 31, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara (Sobjak) Miller. Born in Coopersburg, he was a son of the late Clarence and Elinor (Knappenberger) Miller. He served his country honorably in the US Navy. He worked as a carpenter under the Local Union 1595 of Montgomery County. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and former member of both Milford Township and Trumbauersville Lion Clubs, Yellow Rockers Square Dance Club, and Emmaus Senior League Golf Club. Surviving with his wife are his children: Denise, wife of Glenn Shaw; Dean, husband of Judy; Diane, wife of Jay Rathjens - all of Quakertown; Darlene, wife of Steve Bauder of Center Valley; 10 grandchildren; and his siblings: Larry Miller and his wife Ethel of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and Sandra Adams of Alburtis. A memorial mass will be held at 11am on Saturday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg. Family and friends are welcome to call at the church from 10-11am.
