Donald Huff

Dr. Donald W. Huff Jr., 69, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family August 21, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Lichtenwalner) Huff. They celebrated 47 years of marriage last year. Don graduated from Collegeville-Trappe High School in 1965. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, IN. He operated a practice in East Greenville from 1971 to 2000. Don was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. Don was very active in his community. He was the Mayor of East Greenville, served for many years on Borough Council, served on the Upper Perkiomen Police Commission and was a Fire Police Volunteer. He was a life member of East Greenville Fire Company. For many years he was referred to fondly as “Mr. East Greenville”. He held several offices in the former Upper Perkiomen Jaycees and was a Boy Scout Leader. He was also a former member of Warren Lodge of the F&AM in Collegeville. Surviving with his wife, are children: Lisa, wife of Levent Aydin, of Limerick; Debra, wife of Troy Jordan, of Salix, PA; Donald III, and his wife, Gail, of Barto; and Timothy, and his wife, Jessica, of Kimberton; and was Pop-Pop to the 12 grandchildren he dearly loved. Services will be on Saturday at 11AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 9-11. Interment will follow at the Limerick Garden of Memories.
