Donald Bartholomew

Donald F. Bartholomew, 82, of Bethlehem, died February 2, 2012 surrounded by his beloved family. He was the loving husband of Marie A. (Petruny) Bartholomew. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Erwin and Ruth Bartholomew. He served his country honorably in both the Air Force and the Army. Following that, he worked as an engineer on the narrow gauge line at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 43 years, retiring in 1992. Survivors: wife; daughter, Karen, wife of Gary Lechman; and son, Jeffrey, both of Bethlehem; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren; and siblings: Erwin and his wife Jackie, Ruth Bealer, Dolores wife of John Danner, and Barbara, wife of Frank Nickels.
