Dolores C. Gale

Dolores C. (Moffitt) Gale, 89, of Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18th, 2020. She was the beloved spouse of the late Paul J. Gale. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Kennedy) Moffitt.

Dolores worked as a bookkeeper and in the banking field. She enjoyed knitting and needlework. She was a social butterfly, and she loved talking with friends and family. She loved traveling to see the many people she loved. She especially loved her trips to Ireland, Florida and weeklong cruises. She would love the attention and loving company of her dear family. All it took was a kiss on the cheek from one of her granddaughters or a simple “looking beautiful today” or “I love that ring on you” that would bring about that wide, joyful smile we all know and loved.

She is survived by: children: Paul, and his wife Michele of Amelia Island, FL; Robert, and his wife Cathy of York, PA; Carol, and her husband Roy Phillips of Pennsburg, PA; Pamela, and her husband Hossein Zaim of Harleysville, PA; grandchildren: Jennifer, Holly, Samantha, Emily, David, Ladan & Sara. She was predeceased by her siblings: Joseph, James, Bill, John, Mildred & Florence.

Friends may call from 10-11 AM on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, followed by a private family service. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
