Dolly Hemphill, 61, of Pennsburg Manor, passed away on July 1, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospice House. Born on August 27, 1964, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Ann (Cornwell) Hemphill and the late Dallett Hemphill.

Dolly will be lovingly remembered for her compassionate heart, deep spirituality, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with everyone she met. A gifted musician, she especially enjoyed singing opera with her beautiful coloratura voice and was an active participant in numerous choirs and musical groups throughout her life. She was a fluent French speaker and cherished every opportunity to travel to France, where she embraced the language, culture, and people she loved so much.

Dolly was a graduate of Purnell School in Pottersville, New Jersey, and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College. Her professional career led her to serve as a secretary at the World Bank, where her dedication and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

In addition to her mother, Ann, Dolly is survived by her loving sisters, Phebe Hemphill; Amy Hemphill Dove and her husband, Steve; and Catharine Dallett Hemphill and her husband, Timothy Naugle. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces, Eva and Lily, along with many aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, who will cherish her memory.
