Dennis Stone

February 4, 1955 — June 22, 2010

Dennis “Terry” Stone, 55, of Spring City, died June 22, 2010. He was the loving husband of Debra (Stong) Tartaglia-Stone. Born in Macon, GA, he was a son of WM Stone, Jr, of West Columbia, SC; and the late Bobbie Jo (Shealy) Stone. He was the valedictorian of the Fletcher Seventh Day Adventist Academy, and a received a B.S. in Accounting, cum laude from the Southern Missionary College. He was a C.F.O. of various medical institutions, most recently the Box Butte General Hospital, in Nebraska. He was a life member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and was currently an elder at the Phoenixville Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving with his wife and father, are children: Cherri Mills, Bobby Stone, and Michael Stone, all of Georgia; step-sons: Jay Tartaglia of Philadelphia and Randy Tartaglia, at home; siblings: Mike Stone, of Tryon, NC; Barbara Stone and Cherie Riffel, both of West Columbia, SC; and 7 grandchildren: James & Jacob Tartaglia, Candice Brinkley, Chloe Mills, Gabriel Stone, Marie Beaty, and Ethan Stone. Memorial Services: will be on Sunday at 4 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, meeting at Parkside UCC, 501 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements. Contributions: may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Foundation, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
