Dennis Brown

Dennis Ray Brown, 73, of Norristown passed away on October 9, 2026 at home, surrounded by his family.

Born on July 16, 1953 in Norristown, Dennis was the son of the late Elwood Brown and Helen (Hawkins) Spear.

Dennis graduated from Norristown Area High School in 1972. He worked as a CNC Machine Operator at SciCast International for 41 years before retiring in 2019.

Dennis married Nancy Christman on July 6,1985. Nancy passed away following a short battle with cancer in December 1986. Dennis carried on his love for her every day since her passing.

Dennis had many interests and hobbies that he loved to share about with anyone who would listen. He had a lifelong interest in electronics that started with CB radios, but evolved over the decades as technology advanced. Dennis took pride in having the best car stereo system and would build his own custom computers. Dennis also loved cars, listening to music (especially the Beatles), getting food from his favorite local restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Remaining to cherish Dennis's memory are friends and family including his brothers, Dale Brown and David Brown and his wife Joan; nieces, Alyssa Brown, Jennifer Brown and Jessica Padlaszek; and nephew, Michael Brown.

Preceding Dennis in death were his wife, Nancy (Christman) Brown, parents, Elwood Brown and Helen Spear; step-father, William Spear and brothers, Douglas and Donald Brown.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 1:00PM at Jack Francis Catering, 300 Maple St, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
