Denise (Husk) Folks, 69, of Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12th, 2024. Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian (Schwager) Husk. For many years, she was a Social Worker and Case Manager for Eagleville Hospital in the Detox Unit. After retiring from Eagleville in 2021 she worked part time at the front desk of Springhill Suites in Quakertown and took care of her grandkids. Denise was all of the good things a human could be. Strong, kind, giving, and funny. She lit up any room she walked into. She loved her family and friends fiercely, and they all loved her in return. She touched the lives of so many people and will live on in each of their hearts.

Denise is survived by her three children: Charles Smith Jr. and his wife Shawn of East Greenville, Stacey, wife of Derek Ritter, of Palm, Jordan Folks who resided with her and her beloved dog “Bear”. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Halie and Rylie Smith, and Lennon and Dylan Ritter; her stepdaughters: Erin Dugan of New York, and Lauren Holler of Collegeville; her step grandchildren: Aife and Arlo Dugan, and Ezra Holler; her siblings: Frederick of Trumbauersville, John and his wife Deb of Florida, Bruce and his wife Joanne of Delaware; and her stepbrother, Frank of Quakertown. She was predeceased by brother David Husk of Pennsburg and her Life Partner, Rick Daneke of Green Lane.
