Deborah “Debbi” L. Wanamaker, 53, of East Greenville passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Jason Wanamaker. They would have celebrated 20 years of marriage in September. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the Jean (Adams) Melton, of Beavertown, PA, and the late George Melton. Until becoming ill, Debbi worked in the cafeteria at the Upper Perkiomen High School for the last several years. Prior to that, she worked in Medicare billing for Catholic Health Initiatives in Exton, PA. Debbi also enjoyed bowling in the women’s league at the East Greenville Fire House. Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her children: Elizabeth Melton, and Matthew Wanamaker, both at home; and stepdaughter Alicia Siwak of Pennsburg; a brother, George Melton Jr. of Coatsville; and a sister, Becky, wife of Trent Snook of McClure, PA. All are invited to gather from 10- 11 am on Friday, May 27, at First United Church of Christ, 151 S. 4th Street, Quakertown, PA 18951. A celebration of her life will follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to First UCC. Visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
