David Lester Mccarthy

David Lester McCarthy, 94, of Hellertown, passed away October 6, 2017. He was the husband for 67 years of the late Catherine E. (Chuck) McCarthy. Born in Bingen, he was a son of the late David & Julia (Graf) McCarthy. David served his country honorably in the Army during World War II. He was a steelworker at the former Bethlehem Steel Co. He was a member of the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem and the American Legion, Hellertown.

Surviving is a sister, Dorothy Muschlitz, of Bingen; a nephew, Ronald Muschlitz, of Easton; and nieces Mary Frances Felix and Kathryn Csaszar, both of Bethlehem; and Karen Hildebrand, of Quakertown. He was pre-deceased by brothers: Russell McCarthy; and Joseph & William Muhr; and sisters: Elsie Miller & Julia Krasley.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday at 11 AM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown. A Viewing will be from 10-11 AM.
