David Kalis

David L. Kalis, 66, of Barto, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Leda (Franklin) Kalis. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Francis and Marion (Rhoads) Kalis. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. David was a wood and metal worker. Surviving with his wife are his sons: David Jr. and Charles, both of Pottstown, Jeremiah of Barto; his daughters: Michelle of Macungie, and Myranda Sarro of Bechtelsville; his grandchildren: Callan and Scathan Sarro; and his siblings: Stephen of Macungie, Joseph of Reading, and Gary of Stowe.
