Daniel Petrovich

Daniel Petrovich, 83, of Hellertown passed away on Wednesday April 4, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Husband of Mary Ann (Meisse), they enjoyed 38 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Hellertown on October 14, 1923, he was the son of the late Marko and Cecelia Petrovich. He was a graduate of Hellertown High School and was employed by the Saucon Valley School District as a Supervisor of Maintenance until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps and proudly fought in World War II. While serving in the military he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his efforts in the war. He also belonged to the American Legion of Hellertown. Daniel belonged to Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife; daughter Laurie wife of Brian Paulson of Nazareth; grandson Hunter; granddaughter Courtney; brother, James Petrovich and sister Julia Glosan of Hellertown; sisters Jennie Sheska and Violet Weger of Florida. He was predeceased by brother Michael Prtrovich and sisters Mary Petrovich, Sadie Oravec and Gloria Dencheff. Services: Friends may call Monday April 9, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1418 Main St. Hellertown. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church located at 980 Bridle Path Road, Bethlehem.
