Columba Dee Maltese, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem on April 7, 2014. She was the wife of the late Philip Maltese who died in 1986. Born in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Guido and Mary (Mazza) Cacace. Columba was an avid gardener, she loved to play Mahjong, and she was independent. She truly loved her family. Survivors: daughters: Robin, wife of John Dintinger, of Bethlehem, and Adrienne Maltese, and her spouse, Debbie Howarth of NJ; a son: Philip Maltese,and his wife, Vivian, of NJ; five grandchildren: Carla and Kirsten Dintinger, and Trey, Nicholas, and Cameron Maltese; a sister: Lee Gialanella, of NJ; and a brother: Ralph Cacace and his wife Carmen of DE. She was predeceased by a brother Guido. Services: A memorial service will be held at a later date. Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown are in charge of arrangements.
